The most famous inhabitants of the Manuel Antonio National Park, which was declared a national park in 1972, are the endangered squirrel monkeys and white faced capuchin monkeys who often cross the park boundaries to visit the villa, mostly during 'monkey hour' from 5pm to 6pm.

By car: Quepos is a 3-hour drive from San Jose International Airport via Atenas, Orotina, Jaco and Parrita. The villa is a short 8-minute drive from Quepos You find the driving directions including maps on this page
By air: Quepos airport is a 25-minute flight from San Jose International Airport by 12-seat jungle hopper. The villa is a 15-minute drive from Quepos airport. Minibus transfer from Quepos airport to the Jungle Villa is $5 per person
