What are the requirements to make and receive calls? 1. Windows 98 or later 2. Internet Explorer with ActiveX and Javascript enabled Firefox and Mozilla browsers don't allow ActiveX downloads 3. Download of a small ActiveX telephony program (148Kb) 4. Soundcard with headset (preferred) -OR- speakers plus microphone 5. Login to the etnVoip SIP server 2. I cannot download the ActiveX program 1. Probably the download is blocked by Internet Explorer. Right-click on the Information Bar at the top of the webpage window and select 'Allow Blocked Content' 2. Or go to Start > Settings > Control Panel > Internet Options > Security > Internet > Custom Level > ActiveX controls and plugins and make sure ActiveX downloads are set at 'Prompt' (preferred) or 'Enable' 
3. Is it risky to download this ActiveX telephony program? No, absolutely not! This program only allows you to make phone calls It doesn't contain any spyware, adware or other badware!! 4. Forgot Password? Visit etnVoipControlPanel.com and click on Forgotten your Password? Enter your 7-digit etnVoip Number behind Virtual Phone Number and click on Submit Now check your email and look for an incoming email message with the Subject line: Lost password recovery from European Travel Network 5. I get the error: Cannot open local communication port This probably means another program is already using port 5060 of your pc You can stop this other program temporarily. If you don't know which program is using port 5060, you can run TcpView from here to check Check in TcpView in the column 'Local Address' which adress ends with :5060 Click on this process and select in the top menu: Process > End Process Ending a process doesn't damage any program or your pc. 6. They call toll-free 1-800-360 1904 in the USA and enter your 7-digit etnVoip Number followed by the # key You are charged $0.05 a minute for incoming calls thru this 800-number! C. They go to CallMeFromHere.com enter your 7-digit etnVoip Number and click on 'Dial' You will hear a ring on your computer whenever a call comes in Click on 'Accept Call' to accept incoming calls You are not charged anything for these incoming calls!
